For nearly a decade, Antonio Boconegra and Bertha Oliva tried to start a family, but they dealt with various infertility issues.
Unforgettable Coatings Gifts Couple $15k For In Vitro Treatment
Now, thanks to a generous $15,000 donation from Antonio’s employer for in vitro fertilization treatments, they’re new parents to 1-month-old Allyson.
“It’s a blessing,” Antonio told KLAS-TV.
The couple looked into IVF, but held off because the treatments are so costly and aren’t covered by insurance.
His employer, Unforgettable Coatings, gifted the couple $15,000 in 2017 to pay for the treatment.
“Infertility has been something that has affected people close to me,” Cory Summerhays, CEO of Unforgettable Coatings, told the TV station.
On top of the employer’s gift, co-workers pitched in even more to ensure the couple wouldn’t have to pay for anything.
