Cory has started an unofficial company tradition in which he and his company give back to a family or multiple families every Christmas Eve. For 9 years running, Cory has helped multiple families enjoy their holidays and made the Christmas wishes of many come true.
Cory remembers two great influences on his young life who have inspired him to follow their lead: his mother, and his mother’s employer. When Cory was young, he remembers how his mother would work overtime to not only provide for her family, but to buy gifts for others as well. Impressed by her work ethic and selflessness, Cory does remember getting one particular gift. “The one gift I do remember receiving as a young boy was a set of red Rossignol skis. Such an expensive gift was out of the norm on Christmas Day and therefore made an indelible mark on my memory. The gift came from my mother’s employer, a man named Leon. This man became my first mentor, and to this day, I still don’t really know who he was.”
Cory has taken these experiences and not only changed how he views life and those around him, but has inspired and helped other to do the same.
